Reflections as I celebrate life. I retired after 33 years of engineering-related work in aerospace, and after two years, decided to go back to work. Now trying to relocate to Huntsville, AL after living in Texas, Tennessee, Connecticut, Germany, Florida, California, and Wisconsin.

- Retired in November 2006 after 33 years in aerospace. Spent two years consulting, golfing, boating, and enjoying some time with my wife. The economy's effect on our retirement savings drove me back to work. I am back in aerospace, and enjoying it.

Yay! Sadly, it doesn't look like we'll be able to come out and see it over the holidays, but maybe in the springtime we'll have enough resources set aside for a visit.
6 weeks? Sounds like a TN Rush Job! You should consider yourself lucky it happened within your life time.
It seems that living in places like CA, Germany, FL, etc. has led you to develope some unrealistic expectations about service. Don't worry, ya'll adjust to life in da South just fine - eventually.
